So I forked out a lot of money to Walmart and Nintendo on Friday to get a Wii and several games. This will be the first time that I have bought a console first hand, and only my third ever(PS2 and gameboy advance). I have been wanting to get one for a while now, but didn't really have the money for it. Sy has a PS2 game that he really likes and I think that Nintendo is more kid friendly and makes better games that all of us can enjoy. At least that is what I think, we will see if that is true. Anyway, we got several multiplayer games so it should be pretty fun to sit down with Sy and play.
So the last thing I said was that I was going to go to Video Games Live. I did. It was pretty fun. I really wish that I could have listened to the thoughts of the season ticket holders in the audience. The ones that were close to me applauded and even gave a standing ovation to Martin Leung when he played a Final fantasy 7 medley. I came away with a new CD and a shirt. My dad and I had a fun night together, which we haven't been able to do in a long time. Maybe we can spend some free time together playing on the new Wii.
Anyway, we should be getting all of our stuff between Friday and next Tuesday. Hopefully sooner than later. :0)
